Proceeds of KazTransOil will increase in 1999 by 41.6% to 17.7 billion tenges

/PRIME TASS, Dec.02, 99/ - According to one source in the KazTransOil, In
1999 the National Oil Transportation Company of Kazakhstan "KazTransOil"
plans to receive 17.737 billion tenge compared to 12.543 billion tenges of
1998 (at the rate of 1USD - 138.5 tenges).
According to that source, in January - September of the current year the
enterprise has transferred in the republican budget more than 3 billion
tenges, including: 1.242 billion tenges as surtax from the legal persons, 472
million tenges as the dividends and 961 million tenges as the value added
tax.
Within 9 months of 1999 the company has involved 191 million tenges of the
foreign investments.
For the same period KazTransOil has executed an overhaul to the sum of
1.324 billion tenges - 109% by the scheduled volume. To the end of the
current year KazTransOil plans to execute overhaul to the sum of 2.145
billion tenges against 1.398 billion tenges in 1998.
Now KazTransOil maintains the pipelines of the total length of 6,300 km and
the water pipelines of the total length of 3,400 km. The company possesses
of 37 tubing stations, 18 acceptance points, reservoirs of the total volume of
1,200 million cubic meters, 3 oil loading racks.
About 46% of the fixed assets of KazTransOil are exploited from 20 to 30
years, 5.2% - more than 30 years, 20.2% - from 10 till 20 years and 28.7% -
less than 10 years.
