/IRBIS, Nov.23, 99/ - According to REUTERS, which cites the general director of JSC Almaz Ibragimov, "Alumini Kazakhstana" has increased the alumina production in January - October, 1999 by 7.6% in comparison with the same period of 1998. "The increase of production is explained by introduction of the newest technologies developed by the factory's experts, and also by increase of demand", - has told Ibragimov. The bauxite production on the mines has grown by 6.8% in comparison with corresponding period of 1998 and has made 3.043 million tons. The production profitability has made 35.4% in comparison with 11.7% in the past year. The enterprise's staff makes now 10.164 persons, which is by 389 more than one year ego. The average wages have grown within the past year by 19.4% to 22,604.00 tenges.
