ADDITIONAL TRADES IN FOREIGN CURRENCY WILL BE CONDUCTED SINCE NOVEMBER 29 ON KASE

/IRBIS, Nov.22, 99/ - Today the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange Council has accepted the decree on introduction since November 29, 1999 of two additional trades in foreign currencies. Now the trades in foreign exchanges have conducted on KASE on weekdays from 10:15 a.m till 11:00 a.m. Almaty time under the TOD conditions. Since November 29 the additional session will be held from 11:30 a.m. till 3:00 a.m. under the TOD conditions and from 2:00 till 6:00 p.m. - under the TOM and SPT conditions. The exchange average weighted rates of foreign currencies toward tenge will be calculated, as well as earlier, by the results of the morning trade session. The noon TOD session will be given to the market participants as the additional service. Using results of the evening session the Exchange plans to calculate the foreign currencies average weighted rates toward tenge under the TOM and SPT conditions. Using results of the morning and the noon sessions the Exchange will settle up an uniform net position of a bank in the Kazakhstan tenge and in the foreign currencies, at it a commission fee will be charged on the net positions of each trade session separately.
