Surplus of trade balance of Kazakhstan during January-September 1999 - negative $69.2 mln

/IRBIS, Nov. 17, 99/ - Statistics agency of Kazakhstan informs that during
January-February of 1999 surplus of international trade balance of
Kazakhstan (including CIS countries) amounted to negative $69.2 mln. for
similar period of last year surplus was negative $1,110.2 mln.
Net exports during January-September of current year amounted to $3,708.2
mln, imports - $4,739.3 mln. Corresponding figures for last year - $3,777.4
mln and $5,849.5 mln.
Russia remains as the main trade partner of Kazakhstan: its share equals to
18.3 percent of total exports and 37.2 percent of imports.
