USD/KZT at the day closing - 138.55/75 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Nov. 16, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of closing of Kazakhstan's OTC-market on November 16 tenge/dollar quotations have made 138.55/75 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate of 139.11 (+0.01) and session closing quotations of 139.08/12. By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day closing increased by 35 point on demand and increased by 30 points on supply. The interbank dollar quotations are still below than exchange closing and average weighted quotations. The dollar price decreasing has proceeded within a whole day, its speed has slowed by the market closing. The spreads have varied today from 8 to 20 points at average 12. The dealers' reliance concerning the further trend has become higher than yesterday. The overnight interbank deposits rates have decreased compared to the yesterday's and have remained practically without changes at the levels of 4/11 - 4/12% p.a. Any essential changes in the dollar rate should not be expected tomorrow. Most likely, the tendency of tenge strengthening will proceed.
