/IRBIS, Nov.15, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of closing of

made 138.90/139.05 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate
of 139.10 (-0.51) and session closing quotations of 139.16/17.
By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day
closing increased by 40 point on demand and increased by 35 points on
supply.
The dollar quotations in the interbank market all day remained below than
exchange closing and average weighted quotations. At that demand dollar
price remained stable except small decrease in the middle of the day.
Spreads varied today from 10 to 30 points at average 20. They also reached
their maximum at noon. At the moment of the market closing they decreased
to 15 points and held on it during the last hour.
The interbank overnight deposits rates have grown today in comparison with
the yesterday's, as well as in comparison with the morning's values, and has
reached by the day ending of 5.5/7.5% p.a.
The banks of the second tier in the KASE's repo sector have begun to the
means attraction. The actual price for three days is 6.0% a year.
Message about cancellation of obligatory sale of exporters' proceeds on
KASE has not influenced the interbank dollar market. Also there were no
changes in the quotation dynamics.
Today's Marchenko's statement concerning cancellation the obligatory sale
conciliation, looked quite argued. Therefore any rough reaction of the market
should not be expected. In any case, the market today trusts in a stable
tenge in the nearest future. Dollar demand has decreased in all trade
sectors.
Nevertheless, the IRBIS's experts abstain today from the categorical
forecasts on Tuesday. The objective market indicators testify to the
possibility of the further tenge increasing.
