WBRR and Kazakhstan discuss strategy of work till 2003

/IRBIS, Nov.11, 99/ World Bank and Kazakhstan have started to discuss the new strategy of partnership from July 2000 till 2003, is informed in the press release of WBRR representation in Kazakhstan. The World bank representatives and the Kazakhstan's Government now determine the specific intermediate term program of the country development. The bank role is to supplement and to strengthen activity of the Government, other investors, private sector and other elements of the Kazakhstan's society", - is spoken in the message. Since 1993 till October 1999 WBRR has provided Kazakhstan with $1.7 billion under eighteen projects.
