USD/KZT at the day closing - 139.96/140.01 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Nov.09, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of closing of Kazakhstan's OTC-market on November 09 tenge/dollar quotations have made 139.96/140.01 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate of 139.93 (-0.04) and session closing quotations of 139.91/95. By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day closing decreased by 6 points on demand and by 1 points on supply. Except for small rise of supply price at 1:00 p.m. Almaty time, the dollar quotations were stable on the interbank market after dinner, especially on demand, where the dollar price oscillate about a mark of 139.95 tenge. The spreads varied today from 3 to 45 points at average 11. The high value of an average is caused by above mentioned local rise in supply price. In comparison with yesterday's trades the spreads have grown testifying about increase of unsteadiness of the dollar interbank market. The short money quotations testify to sufficiency of free means on the banks' correspondent accounts. By results of the interbank market analysis on Wednesday's trades any essential changes should not take place. The high session opening is possible, to what the technical market indicators has testified at the day closing.
