USD/KZT at the day closing - 140.40/55 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Oct.27, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of October 27 Kazakhstan's OTC-market closing tenge/dollar quotations has made 140.40/55 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate of 140.15 (-0.17) and session closing quotations of 140.35/38. By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day closing decreased by 5 points on demand and by 10 points on supply. The dollar interbank market quotation, after the growth which had begun at 1:00 p.m. Almaty time, were stabilized at the day closing on a new level, which was higher not only than average weighted exchange rate, but also higher than the quotation of KASE' trades closing. The spreads after dinner varied from 5 to 30 points at average 14. Their most essential fluctuations were observed at the middle of the day, when the shortest money price decreased twice - to 2/7% p.a. According to the IRBIS's analysts opinion strong influence on the market was caused by receipt of money from State Securities redemption. By technical indicators, on Friday on KASE the dollar rate growth will be observed which will be caused by inflow of the free tenge and by impossibility of their investment in the more or less attractive tools.
