By the results of the week net gold and foreign exchange reserves of Kazakhstan decreased to $1,277 bln

/IRBIS, Oct.26, 99/ - According to the National Bank of Kazakhstan gross
reserves of Kazakhstan at current prices increased from $1,624.4 mln (as of
October 15, 1999) to $1,801.8 mln last week.
As of October 22 net gold and foreign exchange reserves of Kazakhstan
made $1,277.1 mln, an increase compared with $1,103.7 mln on October
15.
Following is a table that shows the gold and foreign exchange reserves of
the National Bank and the monetary base as of October 22, 1999, and
contains the data for October 15:
