Kazakhstan: Minister of Economy - Zhaksybek Kulekeev, Minister for Foreign Affairs - Erlan Idrisov

/IRBIS, Oct.13, 99/ - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev has signed today decrees about appointment Zhaksybek Kulekeev as the Minister of Economy and Erlan Idrisov - as Minster for Foreign Affairs. It was stated by the employee of the President' press department. Zhaksybek Kulekeev: 42 years, an economist, the last two years headed Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan. The ministry, which was headed by him, was recreated. Before it there was the Ministry of power, industry and trade working headed by Muhtar Abljazov. Erlan Idrisov: 40 years, a professional diplomat, during several years worked as the deputy minister, last time - as first deputy of Kasymzhomart Tokaev. He has experience of work in U.N.O. and foreign embassies. As the chairman of Strategic Planning Agency, which submits directly to the President of Kazakhstan Kajrat Kelembetov is appointed. The former Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Kadyrzhan Damitov is appointed as the Nursultan Nazarbaev adviser. Simultaneously he will represent the President in the Board of the National Bank. There is no any authentic information concerning Uraz Dzhandosov and Muhtar Abljazov appointments (former members of the government, it's main figures from the market's point of view).
