USD/KZT at day closing - 141.84/88 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Oct.08, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of October 12 Kazakhstan's OTC-market closing tenge/dollar quotations has made 141.84/88 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate of 141.97 (+0,20) and session closing quotations of 141.93/95. By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day closing decreased by 3 points on demand and by 2 points on supply. Spreads of the interbank quotations varied from 4 to 15 points at average 6. There are no any significant changes as against to yesterday's quotations. As well as yesterday, rates of the overnight interbank tenge deposits have decreased three times within a day - both on demand and on supply. By the market closing they have made 4% (demand) and 7% (supply). The short money demand comes back to a normal level. The market has not reacted yet to replacement of the Chairman of the National Bank and to another rearrangements. Probably, these events will effect trades tomorrow, though the IRBIS experts do not know by which way. The forecast of IRBIS for tomorrow: no any essential changes in dynamics of the exchange rate at probable insignificant tenge strengthening.
