OTC market of Kazakhstan: small dollar rate fluctuation

/IRBIS, Oct.12, 99/ - As it was informed earlier, at closing of the KASE session the tenge per US dollar quotation were fixed at the level of 141.93/95 at the average weighted rate of 141.97. Following are the quotations of Kazakhstan interbank currency market provided by dealers to the REUTERS information system (the interval is about an hour): 141.93/95 - Exchange closing, 141.82/90 141.75/90 141.82/89 141.85/90 141.80/90 - at 4:00 p.m. Almaty time The OTC-market quotations fix only insignificant dollar rate fluctuations and remains below of Exchange closing quotations. There are no remarkable tendency. Interbank overnight rates were at the level of 6 (demand) / 14 (supply) and fixed double decreasing of price of short money during a day and in comparison with Monday.
