By the results of the week net gold and foreign exchange reserves of Kazakhstan decreased to $1,094 bln

/IRBIS, Oct.11, 99/ - According to the National Bank of Kazakhstan gross
reserves of Kazakhstan at current prices decreased from $1,641.1 mln (as of
September 30, 1999) to $1,614.1 mln last week.
As of October 8 net gold and foreign exchange reserves of Kazakhstan
made $1,094.4 mln, a decrease compared with $1,114 mln on September
30.

the National Bank and the monetary base as of October 8, 1999, and
contains the data for September 30:
