The banks extremely reluctantly part with currency, but should do it for the liquidity maintenance. The National Bank today managed to attract 800 million tenges in the note-14. The dealers speak, that it is mainly investors money, instead of money of bank of the second tier. The problems with short-term liquidity are illustrated by quietness in the interbank dollar market after 3:00 p.m. Dealers almost did not quote, and quotation made testify to relative stability of the national currency. At the same time, the dollar rate at the day closing was above than that of the exchange session. The IRBIS analysts believe that tomorrow the currency trades participants, using means received through weekend's State Securities redemption, will speculate for a dollar rise. Therefore dollar has a great chances to get stronger. Interrogation of dealers, conducted by IRBIS today, definitely confirmed it.
