on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following
press-release of May 20, 2013:

Kazakhmys PLC Board of Directors has been notified of the statement issued
today, May 20, 2013, by the Independent Committee of Corporation PLC
(hereinafter "ENRC") Board of Directors, and stating terms of the indicative
proposal from the Consortium regarding the possible open offering of ENRC shares
not belonging to the Consortium (hereinafter "Statement").
Board of Directors of Kazakhmys PLC would like to clarify with regard to shares
of Kazakhmys PLC, which according to the Statement will also be considered
under the proposal. These shares represent the entire 26% stake held by the
government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a Consortium member, in Kazakhmys PLC,
and does not stipulate issue of any additional shares of Kazakhmys PLC.
Kazakhmys PLC is not a member of the Consortium.
