Additional placement of notes-28 at 98.65 (17.79% APR)

/IRBIS, Sep.23, 99/ - Today the National Bank of Kazakhstan holds an auction on placement of notes with 28 days of circulation (#338/n) within a planned volume of 200 mln tenge. Primary dealers and their investors were offered to submit additional applications at 98.65 tenge, which is equal to 17.79% APR. Compared to previous issue yield of four week notes grew by 253 percentage points (from 15.26% APR).
