National Bank of Republic of Kazakhstan on February 18 bought on KASE government treasury bonds of Ministry of Finance from accumulative pension funds to the amount of KZT9.8 bn

/KASE, February 18, 13/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) announces that a special trading session for purchase by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – the Buyer) of government treasury bonds of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Finance (MEKAM) from accumulative pension funds was held on February 15–18, 2013 in KASE trading system. The Buyer intended to purchase securities to the total amount of KZT10 bn. Three KASE members took part in the trading session submitting 12 orders, of which 10 orders for selling of 9,452,450 securities remained active at the order submission period close. The total amount of ask at the trading session made up 97.6 % of the proposed purchase amount.
