BY THE RESULTS OF THE WEEK GOLD AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE RESERVES OF KAZAKHSTAN HAS DECREASED AGAIN

/IRBIS, Sep.20, 99/ - The National Bank of Kazakhstan in its press-release
#058 issued on September 20 states that net gold and foreign exchange
reserves of the National Bank of Kazakhstan at current prices decreased
from $1,049.2 mln (as of September 10 of current year) to $1,041.9 mln as
of September 17, 1999.
No reasons for decrease of gold and foreign exchange reserves are given.
