National company Kazakhstan Engineering signs cooperation memorandum with Airbus Military (Spain)

/KASE, February 7, 13/ - JSC "National company "Kazakhstan Engineering" (Astana), whose bonds are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), today provided KASE with the following press-release: quote During the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev to the Kingdom of Spain on February 5, 2013 JSC "NC Kazakhstan Engineering", its subsidiary LLP "Kazakhstan Aviation Industry" and "Airbus Military" signed a Memorandum on mutual understanding, according to which the parties intend to co-operate in the field of setting up of a service center for technical maintenance of Airbus Military aircrafts. The document was signed by CEO of JSC "NC Kazakhstan Engineering" Bolat Smagulov and President of "Airbus Military" Domingo Urenja-Raso. The service center is supposed to be based at LLP "Kazakhstan Aviation Industry" in Astana, which will allow maintenance of Airbus Military aircrafts, including air freighters S-295, by Kazakhstan's specialists. In general, setting up of such center will promote the development of aviation industry in Kazakhstan.
