Troika Dialogue Kazakhstan announced closing of order book for Samruk-energy (Kazakhstan) eurobonds

/KASE, December 19, 12/ - Troika Dialogue Kazakhstan (Almaty), which is
the joint organizer, dealer and book runner of Samruk-Energy (Astana)
Eurobonds, provided to KASE the following press release of December 14,
2012:

On December 13, 2012, JSC Samruk-Energy announced the closing of the
order book for its debut issue of Eurobonds under RegS worth $500 mln and
with a term of 5 years from the date of issue. The issue price equaled the
nominal price. The bonds will be listed on the Irish and Kazakh Stock
Exchanges.
During book-building, 80 investor bids were received with overall demand
totaling over $1.1 bln. After book-building, the issuer set the coupon rate
at 3.75%, and decided to accept 64 investor bids for a total of $500 mln. The
technical conclusion of the purchase/sale agreements for the bonds will take
place on December 20, 2012.
"We successfully closed the order book for this debut offering of Eurobonds
with a coupon rate of 3.75%, which is a historically low level for a primary
placement by a Kazakh issuer in the international capital markets. The funds
raised from the Eurobond issue will be used for the refinancing of existing
loans and for the implementation of the investment programs which have been
approved by the Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna, and the Government
of the Republic of Kazakhstan," commented Almassadam Satkaliyev, Chairman
of the Board of JSC Samruk-Energy.
