2128 billion tenges GDP of Kazakhstan is predicted for 2000 year

/Corr. ITAR TASS Oral Kapishev, Sep.13, 99/ - Taking into account the real
growth of GDP by one percent, GDP is predicted in the project of the
republican budget-2000 to be 2128 billion tenges /at the dollar rate of 135
tenge/. As corr. ITAR TASS was informed in the Public Relations
Department of the Ministry of Finance, the budget policy will be directed on
achievement of realistic level of the state liabilities and decrease of budget
deficiency.
The project of the budget was referred to parliament. As the employees of
the Ministry of Finance have informed, receipts of the republican budget-
2000 are expected to be 340.3 billion tenges or 16% of GDP as against
15.73% of GDP of the current year. The forecast for 2000 year includes: tax
receipts - 201.5 billion tenges (123.3% against plan of the current year),
untaxed receipts - 24,8 billion tenge (115.1%), capital operating incomes -
60.1 billion tenges.
Total volume of budget's charges and crediting is planned for an amount of
404.1 billion tenges (18.99% of GDP). Annual average dollar rate is planned
to be 157 tenge.
