BY THE RESULTS OF WEEK GOLD AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE RESERVES OF KAZAKHSTAN HAS DECREASED

/IRBIS, Sep.13, 99/ - The National Bank of Kazakhstan in its press-release
issued on September 13 states that in gross reserves of the National Bank of
Kazakhstan at current prices decreased from $1,625 bln ( August 31 of
current year) to $1,582 bln as of September 10, 1999.
No reasons for decrease of gold and foreign exchange reserves are given.
