Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan announces changes in its Board of Directors

/KASE, December 10, 12/ - JSC "Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" (Almaty), whose securities are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release: quote Joint Stock Company "Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" (Halyk Bank) (LSE: HSBK) hereby announces that at the Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting held on 6 December 2012 Mr. Zhomart Nurabayev was elected as the new member of the Board of Directors of Halyk Bank representing JSC Holding Group Almex, majority shareholder of Halyk Bank. Since December 2012 Mr. Nurabayev has been Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Holding Group Almex and member of the Board of Directors of JSC Holding Group Almex. Earlier he occupied the following positions: - From 1995 to 2000 he was the Head of Division in the Almaty City Tax Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee for Zhetysu district, then Almaly district and then Medeu district of Almaty; - Between 2000 and 2003 he was the Chief Financial Officer of LLP TransOilInvestments; - From 2003 to 2005 he was Chief Financial Officer of LLP Firm Almex; - Between 2005 and 2007 Mr. Nurabayev was Chief Financial Officer - member of the Management Board of JSC Holding Group Almex; - From August 2007 to 30 November 2012 Mr. Nurabayev was Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Holding Group Almex. The authorities of Mr. Kairat Satylganov, member of the Board of Directors of Halyk Bank, were early terminated at his own initiative starting from receipt of a written notification by the Board of Directors of Halyk Bank.
