Effective from November 6 HSBC Bank Kazakhstan quits participation in Agreement on forming KazPrime, Kazakhstan interbank deposit indicator

/KASE, November 2, 12/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) announces that from November 6, 2012 JSC "HSBC Bank Kazakhstan" (Almaty) quits the Agreement on forming the indicator of Kazakhstan interbank deposits KazPrime dated March 27, 2007 (hereinafter - the Agreement). On October 23, 2012 SB JSC "HSBC Bank Kazakhstan" provided to KASE an application for voluntary quitting the Agreement. Indicator KazPrime reflects the average value of rates for placing money (Kazakhstan tenge) in deposits of the inter-bank market among banks of the best credit quality for Kazakhstan. Calculation of the indicator is made by KASE on a daily basis based on quotations submitted by Agreement participants to KASE trading system from 10:00 to 11:30, Almaty time. Each quotation includes the rate for raising and placing money in the deposit at one of the Agreement participants, as well as volumes of placement and raising of money. The minimum volume of quotation - KZT150 m. Participants of the Agreement are JSC "Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan", JSC "ATFBank", JSC "Subsidiary Bank "RBS (Kazakhstan)", JSC "Kazkommertsbank", SB JSC "HSBC Bank Kazakhstan", JSC "Bank CenterCredit".
