Nursultan Nazarbaev has determined main tasks of Kazakhstan economic development

/Corr. ITAR TASS Oral Karpishev, Aug.01, 99/ - Nursultan Nazarbaev the
President of Republic of Kazakhstan speaking today on opening of the fifth
session of parliament has determined the main tasks in the field of country's
economic development.
First of all, as he said, it is necessary to use the best efforts to begin the
realisation of the concrete investment projects in the chemical and
petrochemical industries. The second task of government is the organisation
of a whole series of machine-building, power and electrotechnical
production, which import now reaches 1.2 billion dollars a year.
Liability of rise of a light industry and accompanying agriculture branches is
also among the priority problems.
"In fourth, - the president has continued, - it is necessary to be carefully
with
a village, the government should build clever strategy for completion of
reforms and supply a real support of the state".
Besides it, the government should strengthen customs and tax services by
their automation.
Among other problems, put by the president before the government, is a
necessity of realisation of reforms in the field of education and public health
services, and also in the power structures. It is pointed at necessity of
development of the clear, address program of struggle with poverty and
unemployment.
"Notwithstanding the today's state difficulties, it is necessary to strengthen
the rates of construction and reconstruction of automobile roads and
railways, airports, oil and gas pipelines" - the President has said.
"And latter, - Nasarbaev has told, - all should not to predict the apocalypses
or to cry about difficulties, but to work and to overcome these difficulties.
No one will make it for us".
