/KASE, September 21, 12/ - JSC "Central-Asian power-energy company" (Almaty), whose bonds are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release: quote In the course of the IX Forum of Interregional Co-operation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation JSC "Central-Asian Electric Energy Corporation" - a subsidiary of JSC "Central-Asian power-energy company" - signed three co-operation memorandums with Russian companies amounting to USD356 m On September 18 in Pavlodar within the scope of "the Forum of Interregional Co- operation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation" a business- forum on the subject of "Development of Co-operation in the Field of Innovations and Industrial Co-operation between regions of RK and RF". The business-forum was attended by representatives of ministries of Kazakhstan and Russia, heads of Vneshekonombank and Eurasian Development Bank, Trade and Industry chambers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, business communities of both countries. Within the business-forum JSC "Central-Asian Electric Energy Corporation" (hereinafter JSC "CAEC") signed co-operation memorandums with Russian companies: machinery building holding JSC "NOVAEM", CJSC "Ural Turbine Plant" and OJSC NPO "ELSIB".
