GDP of Kazakhstan in the first half of 1999 - KZT828.3 bln

/IRBIS, Aug.25, 99/ - According to Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from January to June of 1999 country's gross domestic product decreased by 3.3 percent compared to the same period of last year and made 828.3 bln tenge (in current prices). Country's GDP in the first half of last year was 835.6 bln tenge. Compared to the reporting period of 1998 volume of industrial production decreased by 4.1 percent, volume of construction work by 20.0 percent.
