The Almaty market of cash currency exchange keeps relative composure

/IRBIS, Aug.18, 99/ - The results of research of the Almaty cash exchange market allow to speak that the demand for cash dollar did not increase. It is difficult to buy dollars only in the city centre afternoon. The employees of bureau de change speak, that all dollars are bought up in the morning, and practically anybody does not hand over the hard currency. Some bureaus do not declare the rate of sale. The lines were noticed sometime. In the other city areas a situation is different. According to the data of "EconoMix Data" information agency, the cash exchange market is quiet, and any excitement is observed. Some bureau even did not notice increase of the dollar rate. The population continues to hand over small-sized currency (20-50, maximum 100 dollars). There are no problems with purchase of dollars. According to the "EconoMix Data", the city average rate of cash dollars buying had not the up trend and changed last week within the limits of 130.84 - 131.90 tenge per dollar. The rate of sale grows mirroring the rate of the currency exchange, however on August 18 the mean rate in the bureau de change has decreased against the previous day by 0.04 tenge. The "EconoMix Data" agency also marks, that the bureaus are waiting for autumn, when the constant customers will return from the summer vocations.
