/KASE, May 2, 12/ - By shares trading results on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) on May 2, 2012, KASE index increased by 24.85 points (2.03 %) from
1,225.67 to 1,250.52
The first deal fixed the index at 1,243.83. During the trades the maximum value
made up 1,254.51, the minimum - 1,242.63.
Volume of deals in shares, included to the index representative list, on May 2
against the previous trading day in tenge increased 1.7 times and made up
KZT184.3 m (USD1,244.7 th.).

KASE on this day.
The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative
list stocks for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of
such issuers and a number of such stocks in free float. One stock weight
must not exceed 15 %. The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day
as deals in the representative list stocks are concluded. If during a trading
day no deals are made in a representative list stock, then for purposes of
such calculation results of the last resultant trade session are used.
