KZT/USD at closing - 131.53 / 131.63 (indicators)

/IRBIS, 10.08.99/ - According to REUTERS at closing of the Kazakhstan over-the-counter exchange market were fixed the next rates of KZT per USD: 131.53 (demand) / 131.63 (supply) with weighted average exchange price 131.57 (+0.06) and closing quotations 131.57 / 131.58. In comparison with closing of the previous day the tenge quotations increased for demand by 0.03 tenge per dollar, and for supply - by 0.15 tenge per dollar. After closing of trade the quotations of dollar in the interbank exchange system varied about the average weighted market rate with the spread of 0.08-0.11 tenge. To the end of day there was weak tendency of tenge rate increase. In comparison with the yesterdays quoting in the REUTERS information system was conducted less active. The collapse of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund did not affect Kazakhstan market till now. There are the same factors, which control situation on the Kazakhstan exchange market.
