/IRBIS, 09.08.99/ - Today in the repo sector of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) 4 transactions were made, two of them (500.0 mln. tenge) related to the opening of repo and another two (602.4 mln. tenge) related to the closing of repo. Repo was opened for 14 days at 8.00% APR. Repo was closed for 14 days. On this repo 600.0 mln. tenge was attracted at 10.50% APR. At closing of the trades the current repo rates in the KASE trade system have amounted to (weighted average nominal rate, volume based on the sum of receipt): For 7 days (950.0 mln. tenge) - 6.61% APR; For 14 days (2 400.0 mln. tenge) - 10.36% APR; For 36 days (345.6 mln. tenge) - 15.00% APR.
