/KASE, March 7, 12/ - EURASIAN NATURAL RESOURCES CORPORATION PLC (London), whose common shares are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release of March 2, 2012: quote London - Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC ("ENRC" or jointly with subsidiaries - "Group"), today announces the conclusion of a previously announced deal with First Quantum Minerals Ltd.'s ('FQM') regarding purchase of its remaining claims and assets concerning the Project for processing of dumps of mine Kolwezi Tailings, as well as mines Frontier and Lonshi and the relevant participation in the survey of mines all of which are located in Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo ("DRC"), for a total compensation of USD1.25 bn. The total amount of compensation includes USD750 m, which will be paid as at the moment of the deal conclusion, as well as deferred reimbursement of USD500 m in the form of a note with 3 years maturity and yield of 3%, payable annually at the period's end. With regard to this deal FQM, ENRC and DRC government have settled all disputes over companies to be sold, their assets and production capacities in DRC. Besides, under that settlement ENRC, FQM and DRC government have freed each other from fulfillment of all claims and court verdicts relating to the above-mentioned or any other question emerging in DRC as of the date of conclusion of the deal or prior to that date.
