/KASE, March 2, 12/ - SevKazEnergo (Petropavlovsk), bonds of which are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided to KASE the following press release: quotation On January 25, 2012, SevKazEnergo (hereinafter - the company) launched reconstructed boiler unit #6 on Petropavlovsk heat station 2. The project was implemented under the company investment program for 2010-2015. The reconstruction of boiler unit and support equipment allowed ensuring reliable functioning and improvement of ecological and economic indicators. After complete replacement the heating surface, change of the burning mode and the fly-ash collector with efficiency 99.5%, the steam capacity increased by 50 tons (from 220 to 270 tons of steam an hour). The reconstruction has been started in February 2011. The investments volume made up KZT2.704 bn. The volume of investments till 2015 is planned in the size of KZT19.1 bn. The investment program became possible due to the government resolution in 2009 "On approval of Maximum Tariffs", which allowed energy companies to include investment costs to tariffs and use received funds for modernization and reconstruction of their equipment. "At present tear and wear of the heat station equipment is 70%. As a result of implementation of all work on modernization of equipment till 2015 the wear percentage will decrease to 50%", - said heat station director Viktor Barmin.
