BDK-Leasing in 2012 expects rise in volume of leasing deals to $700 million in Kazakhstan

/IRBIS, January 10, 2012/ - According to forecasts of JSC "DBK-
Leasing" in 2012, the volume of leasing transactions in the
Republic of Kazakhstan may grow to U.S. $ 700 million, reports the
press service of the company.
According to the forecasts of the analytical group of JSC "DBK-
Leasing", the total leasing portfolio Kazakh companies in early
2011 amounted to 1.24 billion U.S. dollars. By 2014 this figure will
be doubled by increasing the number of new projects.
"In 2010-2011, the average annual volume of new leasing deals in
Kazakhstan stood at about U.S. $ 400 million. According to
analysts, the next few years the amount of new projects in the
leasing market will double and reach U.S. $ 700 million a year.
Thus, up to 30% of new projects will take leasing program
"Performance 2020", the report said.
