Forecasts and recommendations of analysts of BTA Securities (Kazakhstan) for January 10, 2012
10.01.12 17:51
/IRBIS, January 10, 2012/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary
organization BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has
provided IRBIS with a survey of main events, forecasts and
investment ideas for January 10, 2012.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Positive results of trading in the U.S. and increased
demand for risky assets in Asia set the stage for the game
on rise on local auction. In favor of investors can be certain
banking counters. Raw producers will be under pressure of
correction in the market of Commodities, however, it is
possible that KMG EP can get an advantage. Analysts of
BTA Securities expect continued rally on Kazakhtelecom.
- Most Asian stock indexes today turned around and are
moving in northerly direction on the positive news
background of the United States. Investors' appetite for
risk was stimulated by the optimistic outlook of the U.S.
economy and the good results of the company Alcoa,
which gave start reporting season, which had high
expectations for market growth-minded traders. Foreign
trade data of China's trade surplus, which surpassed the
forecasts of experts, also pleased the investors. Exports
grew by 13.4, imports - by 11.8% only. The indices Nikkei,
Hang Seng and Shanghai today added 0.4%, 0.6% and
1.5% respectively.
- Today's premarket before the opening of the major
commodity areas is assessed by "BTA Securities" as
"moderately positive", more like "neutral". Lack of
understanding of market participants on how to assess the
current situation in the world economy is likely to be
maintained even during a certain period of time, and
perhaps a positive continuation of corporate reporting
season in the U.S. and Europe, may give some impetus to
traders on financial markets. Meanwhile, copper and Brent
crude oil continue to be under pressure from possible
reduction in European demand.
- Traders from Forex market today continue to attempt to
get the euro zone from oversold levels. EUR/USD rate is
rising by 0.10%, approaching the mark of 1.278 on the eve
of a meeting between German Chancellor Angela Merkel,
head of the IMF and C. Lagarde. The main topic of
discussion will be Greece, namely the preservation of the
country in the monetary union.
