The aluminium of Kazakhstan wants to increase the issue of an ore up to 1,14 millions тons

/Almaty office of REUTERS, 03.08.99/ - In the current year JSC Aluminium of Kazakhstan plans to increase the production of an ore up to 1,146 million tons from 1,080 million tons of last year, informed the general director of the company Almaz Ibragimov. "For a comparison I shall tell, that last year this figure (production of an ore) made 1,080 million tons. This year we plan 1,146 million tons", - has told Ibragimov to REUTERS. According to the general director, the volumes of production should increase due to the modernization of production. "Last year the volume of the investments in a fixed capital of Aluminium of Kazakhstan at the expense of its own assets has made 685 million tenge. Money has been spent on purchase of new equipment and development of the production", - he has told. The company Aluminium of Kazakhstan in north of Kazakhstan was created in 1996 on the basis of previously independent Pavlodar aluminium factory, Turgai, Krasnooktyabrski and Keregetas mines. Later company has acquired Pavlodar Power Station (TETS-1). The aluminium of Kazakhstan is among the group of companies controlled by the Euroasian bank, extracts boxites, produces and sells ore and metal aluminium, and also supplies heat and electricicty. The main consumers of an ore, produced by JSC Aluminium of Kazakhstan, are Russian aluminium plants in Siberia.
