According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, orders for durable goods in November 2011 increased compared with October by 3.8% to $ 207 billion; analysts had expected growth rate of only 2%. We also learned that new home sales in the U.S. in November 2011 increased by 1.6% compared to October and amounted to 315 thousand units.
