Before getting to the exhibition, projects went through severe selection in the framework of Republican contest of innovation projects - so, for two and a half months more than 500 applications were filed, that is one selected project accounted for approximately 11 applications. "Most of the selected projects - from the sphere of metallurgy (18%), transport and energy (14%), medicine (10%), agriculture and engineering (6%). Thus, in the field of metallurgy, which took the largest number of projects (18%), scientists of KazNTU n.a. Satpayev developed technology on smelting reduction of alloy steels, which allows one to regulate and limit the process of carbonization of the metal during high temperature metals recovery by carbon. Tech traditional two-stage process with sintering and blast furnace can now be replaced by a single-stage process of reduction smelting of steel from ore to metal. The second highest number of selected projects belongs to transport and energy (14%)", - was said in a statement. It is reported that the selected projects will be included in the Register of innovative projects, which should become the likeness of Industrialization map in innovation and will assume point measures of state support.
