/IRBIS, December 6, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary
organization BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has
provided IRBIS with a survey of main events, forecasts and
investment ideas for December 6, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Today, apparently, fixation of profits on equity securities of
the commodity sector will occur. In particular, high-risk
stocks are KMG, quotes of which can fall at 1.5-2%.
Meanwhile, among the banks play on increase is likely.
Halyk bank might be in favor. KASE index on Monday may
be in negative territory at 0.2 - 0.5%.
- Significant reduction in Asian indices is not in favor of
quotes for blue-chips on locale. KMG stocks, which were
able to keep in position in mind of yesterday weak market
activity and investor uncertainty may be the outsider, while
at international venues GDR of issuer reduced for the
second session in a row. We expect drawdown at 1.3-2%.
Banks generally will be in the neutral zone, although play
on the fall of Kazkommertsbank is not ruled out. KASE
index may be in the red at 1 - 1.5%.
- The Asian markets today are dominated by bullish
sentiment, stimulated by the decision of an international
agency S & P to send credit ratings of all euro-area
countries on review, including those with the highest credit
rating of AAA. That prospect is not washed away by
optimistic expectations formed at the end of last week, on
the positive outcomes of the upcoming meetings of
European leaders. Japan's Nikkei today is reduced by
1.3%. Hong Kong Hang-Seng - 1.6%. China's Shanghai in
the red at 0.5%.
- Today's premarket for commodity platforms is assessed as
only "negative" - apart from the influence of not too
optimistic statements made by S & P, the pressure on
traders of commodity platforms will also have weak
dynamics of trading on the major Asian exchanges. It
should be noted that in addition to marked effects on
strong fundamental factors, some in the market of
commodity assets may be influenced by factors of
technical analysis, which primarily can be attributed to the
quotations of "black gold" and "precious metal".
- The euro/dollar fell below $ 1.3375 under the pressure of
Asian investors fleeing from risky assets against possible
downgrade of the credit ratings of countries such as
France and Germany. The prospects of another possible
interest rate cuts by the ECB in Thursday are also not in
favor of euro. Today GDP figures for the third quarter are
expected, the rate of which, taking into account seasonal
adjustments remained at 1.4% in annual terms. In
Germany, published the statistics on industrial orders,
which can be frustrating.
