Stock indexes of emerging markets on Thursday
completed the day with mostly increase on news from
Germany and China. In particular, support was put by
reports that Germany's GDP for the third quarter of
2011, on the final assessment, increased by 0.5%
compared with the previous quarter. In annual terms,
GDP in Germany in the quarter rose by 2.5%. In
addition, on Thursday it became known that the index of
business confidence in Germany, calculated by Ifo, in
November 2011 rose to 106.6 points against 106.4
points in October, showing an increase for the first time
in five months. Analysts had expected a decline to 105.2
points.
Also, the markets reacted positively to the news that the
People's Bank of China lowered the liabilities on the
level of reserves to six banks in Zhejiang Province from
16.5% to 16%.
