Australian Ausenco acquired $45 million contract in the framework of Bozshakol field development

/IRBIS, November 14, 2011/ - Australian Ausenco Limited has
received a contract worth 45 million dollars to build engineering
services through the development of the Bozshakol copper
project worth 1.8 billion U.S. dollars belonging to KAZAKHMYS
PLC, said Ausenco November 9.
As indicated in the message, Ausenco will provide engineering
services to develop copper refining production, capacity of which
is estimated at around 28 million tonnes per year.
Director General of Ausenco Zimmi Meka said that this contract
will continue to build the company's relationship with Kazakhmys
and increase its presence in Central Asia, was noted in a
statement.
Bozshakol copper deposit is located approximately 220 km
northeast from Astana.
