According to CFS NBK, Kazakhstan net pension assets reached KZT 2,522.4 billion ($17.20 billion) as of October 1, 2011

/IRBIS, November 11, 2011/ - According to the data of the Committee on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations of the National Bank (CFS NBK), the total amount of net pension assets (PA) in the republic (total pension assets excluding obligations on charged commission interests, creditors' debts on pension payments) as of October 1, 2011 reached KZT 2,522.4 billion. (equivalent of $17,044.1 million at the weighted average exchange rate effective on the mentioned date). Corresponding indicator from September 1, 2011 is KZT 2,520.0 billion or $17,206.2 million. In September 2011 net assets of accumulative pension funds (APF) grew by 0.1% in tenge terms (in dollar terms - decreased by 0.9%) relative to the previous month. As of the beginning of October 2011, the total sum of pension assets made KZT 2,525.4 bln., of which KZT 2,361.1 bln were invested. Total for October 2011 in the country two specialized organizations engaged in investment management of pension assets (IMPA) had been operating, and 11 of the APF. Nine funds - JSC "Accumulation Pension Fund of the People's Savings Bank of Kazakhstan", JSC "SPC" SAPF, JSC APF BTA Kazakhstan TO BTA Bank "JSC," SPF "Capital", JSC "SPC" Kazakhmys " JSC "OSPF" Otan ", JSC" SPC "Oil & Gas-Dem", JSC "SPC" Republic "and Eurasian APF managed their pension assets on their own. The share of the PA under management of those funds was at the beginning of October 2011 was 75.0% of the PA of the country (on September 1, 2011 - 75.0%). In terms of volume of assets under management leader is JSC "APF of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" (33.3% of all agents in the management). On the second place is JSC "APF "SAPF"(17.9%), on third place - JSC "APF "UlarUmit" (16.2%). The highest rate of growth of assets in September 2011 got APF "Otan" JCS (2.8% in tenge). In absolute monetary terms, by the greatest amount of growth of assets in the lead is JSC "APF GRANTUM" (5,589.5 million tenge). On second place on this indicator stands JSC "APF "Capital"(2,540.0 million tenge), the third - JSC "APF NefteGaz-Dem" (2,304.9 million tenge).
