/IRBIS, November 10, 2011/ - In October 2011, on the Kazakhstan
Stock Exchange (KASE) on shares in all sectors were recorded 914
transactions totaling 2,468.1 million tenge or 16.7 million U.S.
dollars at current exchange rates at the dates of transactions. The
said amount is 38.6% of the monthly volume of transactions in the
market of corporate securities of KASE (in September 2011 - 11.1%)
and 0.1% of the total exchange monthly turnover (0.6%).
As a result of September 2011 at the KASE average daily prices of shares of 31%
of titles have increased (in September - 19%), decreased - 38% of titles (62%),
prices of 31% have not changed (15%). Maximum trends for the month showed
the following tools: KZTKp grew by 27.8%, BTAS fell by 28.4%. In September
2011 the maximum trends were shown by KZTKp (+14.6%) and GB_KZMS (-
24.1%).
