/IRBIS, November 1, 2011/ - October 31, 2011 on the Commodity
Exchange "ETS" trades of deliverable commodity futures contracts
were held.
On October 31 the following deals have been concluded:
- 10 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery
in December 2011 with 80 open positions. The volume of
transactions amounted to 164,874,934.37 tenge. The
minimum selling price was 1,717 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce,
maximum - 1,725.1 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 4 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in
March 2012 with two open positions. Volume of transactions
was KZT 52,099,324.8. The minimum selling price was
1,722.3 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce, maximum - 1,730 U.S.
dollars for 1 ounce.
- 13 transactions with mini-contracts on refined gold in bullions
for delivery in November 2011 with 170 open positions.
Volume of transactions was 2,612,220.66 tenge. The
minimum selling price was 1,713.6 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce,
maximum - 1,727 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 11 transactions with mini-contracts on crude oil for delivery in
November 2011 with 40 open positions. Volume of
transactions was 1,325,068.52 tenge. The minimum selling
price was 109.13 U.S. dollars for 1 barrel, maximum - $ 110
U.S. for a barrel.
- 4 deals with contracts for refined silver for delivery in
December 2012, with 52 open positions. The volume of
transactions amounted to 35,054,730.11 tenge. The minimum
selling price was 34.23 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, maximum -
34.32 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 3 deals with contracts for refined silver for delivery in March
2012. The volume of transactions amounted to 31,844,739.15
tenge. The minimum selling price was 34.25 U.S. dollars a
troy ounce, maximum - 34.27 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 10 deals with contracts for crude oil for delivery in November
2011 with 100 open positions. The volume of transactions
amounted to 69,954,305.09 tenge. The minimum selling price
was 108.91 U.S. dollars for 1 barrel, maximum - 109.53 USD
for a barrel.
- 7 deals with contracts for crude oil for delivery in December
2011 with 60 open positions. The volume of transactions
amounted to 65,135,132.68 tenge. The minimum selling price
was 107.69 U.S. dollars for 1 barrel, maximum - 108.67 USD
for a barrel.
The settlement price of futures on wheat of class 3 for delivery in
January 2012 decreased by 1.36% and amounted to 20,590 tenge per
tonne, for delivery in February 2012 - 1.44% and amounted to 21,600
tenge per tonne, with delivery in March 2012 - 1.65% and amounted to
23,080 tenge per tonne, for delivery in April 2012 - at 1.68% and
amounted to 23,240 tenge per tonne. Settlement futures prices for
wheat of class 3 with delivery in November and December 2011 have
not changed and amounted to 17,500 and 21,500 tenge per tonne,
respectively.
The estimated price of mini-contracts on refined silver for delivery in
November 2011 has not changed and was 33.55 U.S. dollars for 1
ounce.
The estimated price of mini-contracts on copper for delivery in
November 2011 did not change and amounted 11,795 tenge per 10
kilograms.
Estimated cost of mini-contracts for wheat with delivery in November
2011 has not changed and amounted to KZT 3,445 for 100 pounds.
