organization BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has
provided IRBIS with a survey of main events, forecasts and
investment ideas for October 26, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Today the Kazakh investors appear to take a wait in
anticipation of the upcoming EU summit, the results of
which will determine further the mood of the market before
the end of the year. After two days of good growth today
Kazakhmys and ENRC may end in fixing profits. At the
same time the preferences can be changes in the direction
of KMG EP. Change in the KASE index ranges from -0.5%
to -1.3%.
- Asian indices at the beginning of the day teetered between
gains and losses amid uncertainty about the outcome of
EU summit today. However, further they were able to
move into positive territory in response to rumors of a
possible easing of monetary policy in China. Japanese
Nikkei is under pressure of strengthening yen, however, it
shows the growth at 0.4%. The Shanghai and Hang Seng
are rising by 1.5% and 0.5% respectively. Support for the
Chinese market has a sharp rise in profit developer China
Vanke.
- The euro/dollar has decided to await the outcome of the
summit of European leaders at a mark of 1.39. Today, the
key day not only for the euro, but also for many other risk
assets. Market participants expect constructive solutions
from EU politicians, but know that the current problems
persist for a long time. What is important is attitude, which
will serve as a signal of determination to fight the crisis
together. Today increase in the size of the Stabilization
Fund from the current 440 billion to 0.75 - 1.2 trillion euro
will probably be announced. However, special attention will
be paid to measures for Greece, namely the size of the
potential loss of private creditors.
- Tension in the stock market continues to support the
quotations of gold, which rose to $1,719 per troy ounce.
Statements of the authorities of the PRC that against the
background of the anticipated decline in inflation monetary
policy may be revised at the direction of weakening. This
news background is driven up the price of copper, which
grow on the Shanghai Stock Exchange at 2%. Crude
futures for Brent oil rose today to $ 112.4 per barrel.
