"KazAgro" is planning to work with Turkish companies on high-tech implementation in breeding issues

According to the press - service of holding, at a meeting the sides planned to discuss the current state and prospects of the state policy in the development of agriculture in Kazakhstan. As indicated, the Turkish partners are interested in terms of investment by foreign companies in the agribusiness sector and priorities identified by the state in the agrarian sector, the need for production and procurement of agricultural machinery. "To date, the loan portfolio of KazAgro includes more than 33 thousand borrowers. There is a growing dynamics of financing agribusiness entities in 2010, funding has exceeded 1 billion U.S. dollars. This year, according to preliminary estimates, the development of agriculture got more than 1.7 billion U.S. dollars, which was strong support for agricultural producers and reduce of lending from second-tier banks", - was stated in the message. As indicated, for 5 years of the holding company over U.S. $ 6.5 billion was sent for the development of agriculture. To date, according to the holding, KazAgro sells 177 investment projects, 116 of which were put into operation, before the end of the year another 69 projects are planned to commission. "Companies of KazAgro are active buyers of technological equipment of Turkish origin. So in 2005 - 2011 subsidiary of JSC KazAgroFinance purchased the equipment for agriculture and a total value of about U.S. $ 13 million from Turkish suppliers.
