/IRBIS, October 21, 2011/ - ASYL INVEST JCS (Almaty) provided
IRBIS with the review of main events and its investment ideas and
forecasts for October 21, 2011.
Analysts of ASYL INVEST JCS note the following tendencies on
Kazakhstani and world markets:
- The external news background for the domestic market today
is positive, despite the fact that the major indexes Asia are not
inspired by the yesterday rise of U.S. market. The news that at
the moment Merkel and Sarkozy have gained agreement on
"broad-based and ambitious package of measures" to resolve
the crisis, and EU leaders will hold the next summit of October
26 to review the plan, are positive for the market.
- Commodity markets are today recovering after falling on the
previous day. Quotes of WTI oil and Brent are growing at
moderate pace, while copper is growing in electronic trading in
New York at 2.4%. Gold, recently going after markets, today
adds 1%. The euro/dollar today is growing at 0.5%.
- The news background today is positive for stocks of mining
companies of Kazakhstan, quotes of Kazakhmys Plc, ENRC
and KMG EP can markedly increase amid growth of prices for
oil and industrial metals.
