Exchange "ETS" trades of deliverable commodity futures contracts
were held.
On October 18 the following deals have been concluded:
- 32 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions with delivery
in December 2011 with 366 open positions. The volume of
transactions amounted to 712,347,398.76 tenge. The
minimum selling price was 1,659.9 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce,
maximum - 1,671.6 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 9 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in
March 2012 with 50 open positions. The volume of
transactions amounted to 212,614,525.63 tenge. The
minimum selling price was 1,679.3 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce,
maximum - 1,680.1 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 7 deals with the mini-contracts for refined silver for delivery in
November 2011, with 4 open positions. The volume of
transactions amounted to 52,215.85 tenge. The minimum
selling price was 31.34 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, maximum -
33 U.S. dollars a troy ounce.
- 37 transactions with mini-contracts on refined gold bullion for
delivery in November 2011 with 546 open positions. The
volume of transactions amounted to 15,337,865.66 tenge. The
minimum selling price was 1,661.6 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce,
maximum - 1,695 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce.
- 18 transactions with mini-contracts on copper for delivery in
November 2011. The volume of transactions amounted to
765,940 tenge. The minimum selling price amounted to
11,795 tenge per 10 kilograms, maximum - 12,095 tenge per
10 kilograms.
- 21 deal with the mini-contracts on crude oil for delivery in
November 2011, with 36 open positions. The volume of
transactions amounted to 860,587.12 tenge. The minimum
selling price was 109.2 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel, the maximum
- 111 U.S. dollars for a barrel.
- 7 deals with contracts for refined silver for delivery in
December 2011. The volume of transactions amounted to
82,789,011.98 tenge. The minimum selling price was 31.03

- 18 deals with contracts for crude oil for delivery in November
2011, with 10 open positions. The volume of transactions
amounted to 148,061,106.35 tenge. The minimum selling
price was 109.12 U.S. dollars for 1 barrel, maximum - 110.11
USD for a barrel.
- 9 deals with contracts for crude oil for delivery in December
2011. The volume of transactions amounted to
191,954,778.24 tenge. The minimum selling price was 109.59
U.S. dollars for 1 barrel, maximum - 109.71 USD for a barrel.
The settlement price of futures on wheat of class 3 with delivery in
November 2011 decreased by 7.34% and amounted to 21,800 tenge
per tonne, for delivery in January 2012 - grew by 1.28% and amounted
to 23,500 tenge per tonne, with delivery February 2012 - by 0.82%
and amounted to 24,500 tenge per tonne, for delivery in March 2012 -
by 1.18% and amounted to 25,500 tenge per tonne, for delivery in April
2012 - by 1.17% and amounted to 25,600 tenge per tonne. The
settlement price of futures on wheat of 3rd class with delivery in
December 2011 has not changed and amounted to 21,500 tenge per
tonne.
Estimated cost mini-contract for wheat for delivery in November 2011
has not changed and amounted to KZT 3,420 for 100 pounds.
