/IRBIS, October 14, 2011/ - In September 2011, on the Kazakhstan
Stock Exchange (KASE) on shares in all sectors were recorded 741
transactions totaling 14,541.1 million tenge or 98.9 million U.S.
dollars at current exchange rates at the dates of transactions. The
said amount is 38.6% of the monthly volume of transactions in the
market of corporate securities of KASE (in August 2011 - 14.0%) and
0.6% of the total exchange monthly turnover (0.1%).
It should be noted that 47.9% of the total volume of transactions with
shares in the secondary market purchase on KASE went to deals with
common shares of "SAT & Company" (SATC). At the same time
99.2% of transactions with these securities in September 2011
accounted for two transactions that were concluded on September 5.
As a result of September 2011 at the KASE average daily prices of shares of 19%
of titles have increased (in July August - 24%), decreased - 62% of titles (62%),
prices of 15% have not changed (12%). Maximum trends for the month showed
the following tools: KZTKp grew by 14.6%, GB_KZMS fell by 24.1%. In August
2011 the maximum trends were shown by CHFMp (+114.3%) and MREK (-
58.3%).
